The Gifted Child

I listened to a delightful interview today on NPR's website.

Ethen Bortnick - is a gifted little boy who knew from the age of three,

that he wanted to play the piano.  Not only does he play it well - he

has composed about thirty songs.  So you know, the interview is about 

seven minutes long - but is worth the listen and will make you smile.

I love Doris Day.  Some people say that I'm a lot like her.  Except for the blonde hair, I think we're identical really. We both like to tote guns, shoot rattlesnakes, rope, chew, spit, ride stage coaches and we love to wear britches. She's perky, pretty, wholesome and gosh durned, purdy good at singing !

Well I'm off now to the YMCA charity shop to volunteer for the day. If you need me, I will be at the bottom of a big pile of donations gagging for air ! Charity shops - gotta love 'em !
