Babies

I know a few things about babies - I should do as I raised two little ankle biters of my own. The first thing I know is, babies make you smile. Secondly, babies speak a universal language in how they cry, fuss, laugh, play and bicker. Everyone loves to watch them. Finally, someone made a brilliant movie about those little neonate busters. "Babies" follows and documents four little babies, from birth to taking those first steps. Introducing, Ponijao, from Nambia; Bayarjargal, who lives in Mongolia: then Mari from Tokyo, Japan; and Hattie from San Francisco, USA. I'm sure when you watch it, you may see your own child in some of the cinematic vignettes. This trailer shows a beautifully filmed, arts documentary. I hope it makes you smile just a little !

California Cows

I'm thinking about cows this morning, this first day of 2010.  I may  have to walk to the Lakes and check on the boys one more time, I worry about them so. All around the Mill, the pastures are flooding from the recent snow and rain. But then again, maybe I'll just stay in and watch these videos of the California Cows instead. Big headache today - ouch ! Hope everyone had a great New Years Eve.
